Laying in my bed with the eyes almost closed… I feel my legs starting to numb. I try to move but I feel so heavy, it’s like I’m becoming a statue.

Slowly from my fingertips the feeling goes up to my knees and then from my hands I feel the same thing slowly going to my chest.

I can’t feel my head but I know what it’s happening.

Slowly, slowly every part of my body becomes like the statue of a forgotten hero.

Eyes completely closed and then total numbness. Nothing matters any more. My body it’s no longer mine, my mind it’s no longer in control.
